Shorts

Deacon found some of Matt's basketball shorts and wanted to try them on himself:

This is his cool camo coat that Dad got him for Christmas last year. I'm glad it fits him now because it has been cold!

18 Months

18 Month Check Up

Head - 19 inches, 64%
Length - 33 inches, 72%
Weight - 24 lbs 11 oz, 34%

This kid is starting to climb.... A LOT! Matt found him on top of our kitchen table last week and I found him on a table we have under our tv. I hope this climbing phase doesn't last very long. He did great at his doctor appointment. He is doing really well. He loves to say "cheese" and eat cheese! He has also been saying baby, moo, sock, apple, no, please, and hi a lot. He recently became attached to his blanket. We put it on him for a nap last week and he wanted to keep it with him after he woke up and wants it every time he sleeps now.

His 18-month photo shoot was not his best, but we did finally get a smile out of him towards the end.

This silly boy kept climbing into his basket and got stuck.
Our family went to visit Great Great Grandpa Burns a few days before he turned 98!

And I went to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 movie with Jill, Amanda, and Jess on Nov 19:

Grandma got the kids some cool Halloween flashlights:

Deacon with Daddy:
Deacon is a very funny little boy! He is doing well, except for the last week or two he has decided he doesn't want to eat much of anything. He has a little cold right now, but is still sleeping okay. We hate when he gets sick! He has 3 of his back molars, 4 front bottom teeth, and all of his top front teeth. He is getting so big! He can reach so many things now, including the door to the garage and pantry at Grandma's house. He has recently added the word "please" to his vocab and loves to tell us "no, no, no"
