This summer was fabulous! Here are some of the fun things we did:
Kids Safety Fair:
Swimming lessons. Emerson especially has really improved his swimming skills this summer.
Station Park Family First Mondays:
Fishing Event at Cabela's:
The kids did several summer camps (Down the Rabbit Hole, Camp Castaway, Mario Mania, and Cooking Camp). Surprisingly, the Down the Rabbit Hole (Alice and Wonderland Themed) was the most fun for the kids, besides cooking camp.
Playing with Penny, Car Show, and Upstart Celebration:
Swimming and playing at the splash pad:
4th of July fun:
24th of July fun.
I was stupid and left my chairs, blanket, and umbrella on Main Street after the parade thinking I would just drive down in a bit and pick them up. When I went to go get them, they were gone! ): I went to the police station where they take the abandoned chairs and found 2 of them, but someone stole my blanket, umbrella, 2 adult chairs, and a child's chair. I was not happy, but I guess you live and learn. I definitely won't be doing that again. It just makes no sense - I left my chairs out all night overnight and they were fine, but I leave them on a small patch of grass, and they get stolen in the middle of the day. I sure hope whoever took them needed them more than me.
Josh and Hailee's wedding:
Bee's Baseball game with Grandma and Grandpa Fenwick. Grandpa bought Emerson a hat, and Deacon a small baseball bat.
They also did lots of fun activities at Pam's, played with friends, made some Home Depot kits, and played with cousins on Sundays:
Summer of 2023 was a fun summer full of lots of fun!
