February 2019

I'm sure this year I will have Discovery Gateway pictures overload! On February 2, the museum had a reptile show. We invited Garrett to go with us this time and the kids got to touch some reptiles. Emerson had a hard time sitting still and staying in the room, but Garrett and Deacon were pretty into it.

The boys had fun building more towers:

Also on this day, Emerson fell down the stairs on a little playhouse thing at the Ford dealership. We debated weather or not to take him to Instacare, but decided we should. They glued his cut shut (for $400!!!) Next time I am going to ask the cost before the treatment is done. I am glad they can use glue on some things though instead of stitches.

On Feb 13, Jill, Jess and I went to see Wicked. It was AMAZING! I was a little hesitant to pay the price of the ticket, but it was definitely worth it. I will definitely be going again if it comes back to SLC.

Emerson 2.5 Year Pictures

Stats:
Weight: 29lbs 6oz, 45th percent
Height: 36.5 in, 66th percent

Emerson is just so fun. He talks so well, loves to play and laugh, and is a pretty easy going kid. He always has to have something in his hand, whether it's a toy, marble, or something else, he just finds something everyday and has to hold on to it. Lately he has liked holding a marble, a crayon tub toy, a Rubble Paw Patrol figure, or a car.

2.5 Year Photos:

I wasn't very happy with how his pictures turned out. He did so good and smiled a lot (except he refused to lay on his stomach), but the photographer didn't seem to capture it well. By the time I saw the pictures, it was too much hassle to have them retaken. The first three turned out okay, but from what I saw during the session, I had expected them to be much better.

After getting his picture taken, we took a ride on the train at the mall:
