We are so happy that it is summer! Life is just so much better when it's nice and warm outside. Deacon's newest trick is running in place. He's got the walking down and is now ready to RUN! He enjoys throwing everything down the stairs at Grandma's house and wedging himself behind their entertainment center. He loves cords, plugs, and the remote. He tried to be sneaky and grab it whenever he can tell it is within his reach. It is funny to watch Deacon and Livy interact – they always
want what the other one has and they will push each other down and out of the way. I’m sure one of these days, they’ll learn to play nicely. When I try to get Deacon to say ma ma he just says “ma” back at me. He can say “hi." He probably doesn't know what it means, but
he does say it back to us. He is slowly learning how to clean up his toys. He will "help" me put them back in his basket when it is time to clean up.
Here are a few pictures of him at Grandma's house enjoying her pillow and playing with the stereo.
Emily and her kids were kind enough to let us come swim with them. Deacon had a fun time.
Matt has been very excited about the World Cup and LOVES Brasil!!! He made sure Deacon wore his Brasil shirt every day they had a game.
Here Deacon decided to slide under our table and play:
And last month, Matt took Deacon to see the Memphis Belle:
