Deacon is a very talkative boy - especially in church when we need him to be quiet. He used to go to nursery so well, but over the last few weeks he has no wanted to go by himself. We finished up our Mom and Tot swim lessons with Livy and Grandma last week. He did okay, but didn't like the structure of it. He just wanted to go play on the water playground. He is a great napper and will usually sleep 2-3.5 hours in the afternoon. He is also doing pretty well at night. Lately, he has been wanting to drink Grandpa's "juice" (Crystal Light), or anything else he thinks is juice, so he has been able to have some of it watered down and that seems to make him very happy. A spider or something bit his hand and calf over the weekend and they both swelled up. They are looking better now after he took some allergy medicine. He got a scrape on his arm too, and thinks he always needs a Band-aid on it. I didn't put one on him this morning because I thought it was looking better, but he asked Grandma Fenwick for one after I left for work and she was nice enough to get him one. He still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and likes Chugginton, Winnie the Pooh, and other Disney shows. He likes to swim in our little pool in the backyard and as always, be outside. He likes to color in his Mickey coloring book and play with his puzzles, dinosaurs, and Mr. Potato Head. He likes to eat sandwiches, blueberries, quesadillas, pretzels, goldfish, yogurt, mac & cheese, pasta, broccoli, bread sticks, pizza, bananas, apples, vanilla wafers (cookies), raisins, strawberries, chicken nuggets, and hot dogs, among other things. I gave Deacon and Livy each a cut up hot dog one Saturday for lunch and after Deacon finished his, he started to steal and eat the rest of Livy's. He loves trains and always points out the airplanes and helicopters he sees in the sky. He is a very smart boy and is growing up way too fast! We are so grateful to have this little stinker in our family! (:
