10 Months/Grandma's House

Deacon is now 10 months old! 

• He babbles ma ma, da da, na na, and ba ba a lot. I love to hear him talk!
• He now has two teeth (both on the bottom).
• He can crawl! It is more of an army crawl (he doesn't use his legs much), but he can sure get around a lot more now. 
• He loves to stand - I think he has always loved to stand, but now a lot of the time when I try to get him to sit, he will just stay stiff and straight so that he won't have to sit. 
• He loves anything new. If I need a minute to do something I know he'll be happy if I give him something new to look at or play with. 
• He got his first ear infection at about 9 months. It didn't go away with the first round of antibiotics, so we had to do them again. Poor guy! I hope everything has cleared up now!
• His sleeping at night has been a lot worse since he got sick. He wakes up several times a night right now. 
• He is definitely a daddy's boy! Whenever Matt comes in the room Deacon will start to cry if Matt does not come get him and hold him. He has become very attached to his daddy over the past few months. 
• We are so lucky to have this special little boy!

At Grandma and Grandpa's house the kids do their morning stretches....

...and then if they're really good, they each get a turn to play in the box!
