Walk, walk, walk... all this little boy wants to do is walk!...with someone's help, of course. He started out walking along the couch, then he slowly ventured to walking around the table and back and forth from the couch to the table, but now all he wants to do is hold your fingers while you help him walk. It is pretty cute, but it can get tiring and hurt your back after a while. Sometimes I will help him walk and then put his hands on the couch so he can walk along it by himself, but he gets pretty upset. I am not ready to have him walk yet, so hopefully it takes him some time to master that skill. He is learning to drink from a sippy cup and is slowly trying many new foods. He has two teeth and has been very smiley lately. He is a great eater if he likes the food I am feeding him, not so good if he doesn't like it... sometimes he will take the smallest bites possible if he doesn't really want what I am feeding him. My parents said that he really likes dogs and smiles and laughs when my Dad takes him outside to see Sadie or when he sees a dog on the tv. He also really seems to like music. He likes when a song is played on Nashville, and according to Matt, Deacon also enjoys Rihanna Takeover on MTV. We set his porta-crib up in our family room to use when we need a safe place to put him for a minute. Matt has named it Deacon's "baby jail."
