Grandma Mecham and I took Deacon and Livy to the Zoo for their second visit on October 9, 2015. We had a few hard times, but overall I think they enjoyed it. We went during the Zoorassic Park, so it was fun to see all of the dinosaurs throughout the Zoo. Deacon liked playing in the sand, going on the merry-go-round, and riding the train. Livy wasn't very happy waiting on the train until it started, but seemed okay once it got going. Grandma bought Livy a polar bear stuffed animal and Deacon a blue dinosaur stuffed animal. It took a lot of dilebeartion for Deacon to decide what animal he actually wanted. First he wanted a wolf, then a snake, then a polar bear (which he already has), then a green dinosaur, then a blue dinosaur, then the snake again, then a gorilla, then a giraffe, and lastly a crocodile. I kinda picked the blue dinosaur for him since he did want it at one point and they won't be there next time we go. He seems to be happy with it now, but he wasn't happy with it when we left the Zoo. He wasn't happy when we left the Zoo, period! Luckily he did fall asleep for most of the ride home.
