Emerson: Emerson always wants a candy or a sucker. Once he even said "what color, what color!" because that's what I ask him when I give him M&Ms to try to teach him his colors. I really don't give him candy that often, but if he hears the word candy, or anything similar, he wants candy! Matt's Mom said she was going to go make "supper" the other day, and that got Emer stuck on "I want a sucker!" Two funny sayings: I asked him if he wanted some juice, he said "I'll try it." I asked him if he wanted the last bite of his breakfast, he said "I don't think so." He also really likes hiding right now, especially in plain sight. He'll be right in front of you next to the wall and say "I'm hiding." Sometimes he will go in the closet or something like that, but when you see him, he says "I'm hiding." He likes to let you know what he's doing. He'll often say i'm sleeping, i'm laying down. i'm running, i'm playing, etc. It's pretty cute.

Deacon: Deacon will be starting Kindergarten soon and is excited. He loves to learn and is a very smart and bright boy. He likes Pokemon right now and has been asking for some Pokemon cards. Maybe Santa will bring him some. He loves to go on the "big" rides at Lagoon and enjoys playing with other kids and his cousins. We tried to go to Lagoon as much as we could this summer with our passes and the kids had a great time. Deacon is looking forward to Frightmares at Lagoon in October.

Todd and Tonya invited us to come swimming with the family at Tonya's parents house. Emerson wanted to stay close to me, but Deacon loved the diving board and jumped off of it a ton!

My parents and Mandy bought passes to come to Lagoon with us for a day. It was fun to go with Grandma and Grandpa!

Laurie had a work party at Boondocks one night and invited Deacon and Livy to come. They love Boondocks and had a great time. Thanks, Laurie!

We took Emerson to Build-a-Bear for his birthday because they have a birthday bear you can get during the month of your birthday for a cheap price. I had a coupon, so Deacon was also able to get a dog. They love their new animals. Happy Birthday, Emerson!

I took Emerson to get his first haircut before getting his 2-year pictures taken. He did such a good job! He was especially excited for the sucker he got when he was done.
