November 2020

We just kept moving along in November. I am loving working from home and hope it will last for a long time. I don't want the virus to last for a long time, but I am really enjoying working from home full-time. I love that I can stay in my pjs until noon and that I don't have to commute in the traffic and snow. There have been a few positives that have come out of this pandemic. I also really like the grocery curbside pick-up option. I pretty much do that all the time now. It saves me a lot of time and has worked out well.

My silly kids reading books with Dad:

Since the local library hasn't been able to do story time anymore, they have been providing a lot of fun crafts and coloring pages for the kids to do. They also have a monthly scavenger hunt and the kids get a pencil or sticker or something like that if they do it. This month they had some fun feather hats the kids made.

On November 13, we were able to go to the Museum of Natural History. They had a special exhibit call the "Arctic Dinosaur" or something that the kids got to see this time. They had fun seeing the exhibits.

Emerson made this at Preschool and liked wearing it around

They still love playing with Legos

Painting a Thanksgiving craft

And of course, we have to go start seeing the Christmas lights.
These are at Farmington Station. A lot of things are still closed, so we try to find entertainment anywhere we can.

We also went to see the lights at The Gateway

For Thanksgiving this year, we just did it on our own and I brought food to my parents. My parents and Mandy all got COVID about a week before Thanksgiving, and then I got it about a week after them. It wasn't too terrible, I just felt like I had a cold and I lost my sense of smell for about a month. I keep telling people that losing my smell wasn't the worst thing since I live with 3 stinky boys (: Luckily, Matt, Livy, and the boys never got it (or at least if they did, they never showed symptoms).
