March Zoo Trip

Amanda and Jeremy gave us a family Zoo pass for Christmas this year, so we will be going there a lot more. Our first visit this year was on Saturday, March 11. It was a very nice day and we didn't have anything else planned, so going to the Zoo sounded like a great idea. Unfortunately, everyone else in Utah had the same thought - parking was a bit tough, but once we were in, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. We brought Livy along and I kind of wrangled the toddlers while Matt pushed Emerson in the stroller. We had a fun day and even got to go into the Reptile House for the first time. The Reptile House is towards the back of the Zoo and I hate snakes, so we've always skipped it in the past, but this time Deacon finally got to see the snakes. I forgot that the Reptile House has more in it than just snakes and bugs - it also had porcupines, bats, a fox, a crocodile, butterflies, birds, and turtles among other animals. Deacon was a happy boy.
