SeaQuest Aquarium

I had Friday, November 17 off and a buy 1 get 1 free pass to the SeaQuest Aquarium in Layton, so me and the boys went to check it out. It is an interactive aquarium, so you can touch pretty much everything. When we first went in, we looked at some fish in a tank, and then there was an iguana cage we went in. There were a bunch of iguanas laying around and Deacon got to touch one. He was very proud that he touched one with "two fingers." Emerson liked walking around and looking at the fish. As we went through, we saw a huge tortoise that roams around (which Deacon also touched with two fingers), and then a worker gave him some food to feed to some fish in a tank. They must have been full fish, because none of them swam up to eat it. Next, we got to go into a cage with a whole bunch of birds. A worker pretended to give Deacon some food and the birds flew and landed on his arms, head, and back. He loved that one was on his back. Emer loved to watch the birds walk and fly around. There was a big tank with stingrays swimming in it that both kids liked and an area where you could put your hands in and have little fish eat the dead skin. It was pretty interesting. Last was a shark tank with small sharks. Deacon said this was his favorite area. Afterwards, Deacon of course wanted to buy everything in the gift shop. I was sticking to my guns and told him we were not buying anything... until I saw a 50% off shelf and we got him some bugs to play with for $1.50. When we were done, there was a play area for kids right outside the aquarium that they played on for a little bit. Santa was already at the mall this day, and Deacon got a quick visit with him. He told him he wanted a Pikachu and Santa told him that he could see him anytime. I'm not really sure what he meant by that, but Deacon was excited. We had a fun afternoon.

Also, Emerson had his 15 month check up on November 29:

Stats
Weight: 22lbs 5oz - 42nd %
Height: 30.50in - 22nd %
Head: 19in - 86th %

The only stat above I know is true is his weight. He was not happy when they did his length and head and was crying and moving a lot, so I don't know how accurate those numbers are.
